“My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy.”
“I seek forgiveness from Allah, my Lord, from every sin and I turn to Him in repentance.”
“O Allah, save me from the Hellfire.”
“O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness, so forgive me.”
The last ten nights of Ramadan are the most sacred and spiritually powerful nights of the entire year. These nights hold immense blessings, mercy, and opportunities for forgiveness and closeness to Allah.
🌌 1. Laylatul Qadr – The Night of Power
Among the last ten nights is Laylatul Qadr, a night that is better than a thousand months. Worship performed on this single night is more rewarding than worship done for over 83 years. Allah describes this night as a time when angels descend with peace and divine commands until dawn.
🤲 2. A Time for Complete Forgiveness
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that whoever stands in prayer during the nights of Ramadan with sincere faith and hope for reward will have all previous sins forgiven. The last ten nights are especially powerful for seeking forgiveness and repentance.
🕌 3. Increased Worship and Devotion
During these nights, the Prophet ﷺ would increase his worship more than at any other time. He would spend the nights in prayer, remembrance of Allah, and recitation of the Qur’an, encouraging believers to do the same.
🛐 4. I‘tikaf – Spiritual Retreat
The last ten nights are associated with I‘tikaf, a special spiritual retreat in the mosque where a person disconnects from worldly matters to focus entirely on worship, reflection, and closeness to Allah.
🤍 5. Acceptance of Duas
These nights are among the best times for making dua. Sincere prayers for guidance, mercy, forgiveness, and protection are more likely to be accepted during this blessed period.
🌠 6. Peace Until Dawn
Laylatul Qadr is described as a night filled with peace, tranquility, and divine blessings that last until the break of dawn. It is a night free from harm and full of spiritual calm.
🌿 7. A Chance for Life-Changing Rewards
The last ten nights offer believers a chance to change their destiny. A single sincere night of worship can outweigh decades of ordinary deeds, making these nights a priceless gift from Allah.
“My Lord, forgive me and accept my repentance. Surely, You are the Accepter of repentance, the Most Merciful.”
“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness.”
“O Allah, we seek Your help and ask for Your forgiveness.
We believe in You and put our trust in You.
We praise You with all goodness and thank You, and we are not ungrateful to You.
We disown and leave those who disobey You.
O Allah, You alone we worship.
To You we pray and prostrate.
To You we strive and hasten.
We hope for Your mercy and fear Your punishment.
Indeed, Your punishment will reach the disbelievers.”
“My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and have mercy upon them as they raised me when I was small.”
